Generally, bead-annealing kilns heat to 650°C; enamelling, fusing, and glass to 925°C; jewellery to 1095°C; and ceramics, porcelain, and heat-treating to 1290°C.

THE PARAGON BLUEBIRD: ANNEALING BEADS AND GLASS
The Paragon BlueBird series are, with one exception, 650°C, rectangular, front-opening, plug-in, ceramic-fibre or firebrick kilns, with ramp-hold Sentry Xpress 3-key digital programmers. The exception is the large 815°C BlueBird XL.
There are three in the series: the small portable BlueBird Junior, the medium BlueBird, and the larger and hotter BlueBird XL.
THE PARAGON SC2: THE UK'S FAVOURITE JEWELLERY KILN
The Paragon SC series are 1095°C, square, front-opening, plug-in, table-top, ceramic fibre kilns, with ramp-hold Sentry Xpress 3-key digital programmers.
There are fourteen in the series: the small SC1 and SC1W, the medium SC2, SC2B, SC2W, and SC2BW, the larger SC3, SC3B, SC3W, and SC3BW, and the large SC4. The B versions have a bead-annealing door, the W versions have a heat resistant glass viewing-window, and the BW versions have both.
The series includes three stylish SC2 PRO versions with stainless-steel doors, stay-cool wooden door-handles, silent long-life solid-state relays, and tilted easy-view ramp-hold Sentry Xpress 3-key, Sentry 12-key, or Sentinel Touch Screen digital programmers.
THE PARAGON XPRESS E12A: A HIGH-TEMPERATURE KILN
The Paragon Xpress series are 1095°C, to 1290°C, multi-sided, firebrick kilns, with a ramp-hold Sentry Xpress 3-key digital programmers.
There are twenty in the series: the front-opening table-top Xpress Q11A, Q11AW, E9A, 9AW, E10A, E10AB, E10AW, E10ABW, E12A, E12AB, E12AW, E12ABW, E14A, E14AB, E14AW, E14ABW, J14A, and the top-opening floor-standing 1193, 663, and 1613. The B versions have a bead-annealing door, the W versions have a heat-resistant glass viewing-window, and the BW have both.
THE PARAGON FUSION CS16D: THE LARGEST 13A PLUG-IN KILN
The Paragon Fusion series are 925°C, square, top-opening, firebrick kilns, with ramp-hold Sentry Xpress 3-key digital programmers.
There are seventeen in the series: the multi-sided Fusion 6, 7, 8, 10, 14, 16, 19, and Ovation, and the square CS14S, CS14D, CS16S, CS16D, CS19S, CS19D, CS26S, and FibreFuse 16, and the rectangular CS5630. The numbers 6, 7, 8, and 10 represent the number of sides. Other numbers are the approximate width of the firing chamber in inches.
The Paragon Fusion ClamShells come in two versions: the S has an opening lid, and the D has an opening lid and an opening body giving an easy-access flat surface for arranging glasswork. So, S means single opening and D means double opening.
THE PARAGON JANUS 1613: CERAMICS, GLASS, AND PORCELAIN
The Paragon Janus series are 1290°C cone 10, multided-sided, firebrick kilns, with cone-fire ramp-hold Sentry 12-key digital programmers.
There are four in the series: the Janus 1613, Janus 24, Janus 27, and Janus 28, in ascending order of firing chamber width, the number being the approximate interior width in inches.
The Sentry 12-key can be upgraded to a Sentinel Touch Screen. Both upgrades have advanced and time-saving features, including optional automatic control over an electric kiln vent, a gas injection system, and a USB or RS232 computer interface.
THE PARAGON KM18: KNIFE-MAKING AND HEAT-TREATING
The Paragon KM series are 1290°C, rectangular, front-opening, table-top, firebrick kilns, with ramp-hold Sentry Xpress 3-key digital programmers.
There are seven in the series: the KM-14T, KM-18T, KM-18T XL, KM-24T, KM-24T XL, KM-36T, and KM-45T, in ascending order of firing chamber depth, the number being the approximate interior depth in inches. The KM18T XL and KM24T XL are twice as wide as the KM18T and KM24T. In the US, the XL kilns are called double-barrel.
The Sentry Xpress 3-key programmer can be upgraded to a Sentry 12-key or a Sentinel Touch Screen. Both upgrades have advanced and time-saving features, including optional automatic control over an electric kiln vent, a gas injection system, and a USB or RS232 computer interface.
